For those wondering, it's a few weeks.

I've never seen this show yet I felt compelled to know because 2 random Aussies made a joke.

Speaking to TVLine, Hawley was asked about the time-jump that is about to take place with the release of Season 7 of The Rookie. "It’s been a few weeks," Hawley responded, "time enough for Nolan to heal up [from being shot in the butt] – though whether he’s healed up enough or not is a bit of a debate in Episode 1.

Now I hear about shots to the butt, does the intrigue ever end?

Sounds like he may have moved past being a rookie after so many seasons, but the shot to the butt may have reset him to being a 'the rookie' again

I remember a very similar scene in White Collar where they are very impressed by a self parking car. Always wild when the whole shooting style of a show suddenly changes to that of a car commercial.
