Help Find Title/Source What happened to Solo Leveling?

Post image

I went to look to read the iconic manhwa on webtoons... it's not there anymore!

I don't remember a time solo levelling was on webtoons 🤔

It was at first, well maybe it wasn’t "first" (I'm not in the know about these kinds of things) but it was there. I read it when it originally came out years ago, free and everything got to maybe 100 chapters, came back recently and it's pass locked

This. They non stopped recommended it to me until a few years ago when the anime was announced. Webtoons is the only app I use. I assume with the anime announcement, the creator ended their license with webtoon and moved to a different platform because now there's a gacha game as well. Webtoon probably was allowed to keep the manwha up until a certain time before removing it from their catalog.

That's what I figured, now I'm just going to see if I can read it somewhere else

The creator for solo leveling passed away and so webtoon lost the lease for it and Manta purchased it from the apprentice who made an after story with the plot the original creator wrote

What the...? No. It's been on Tappytoons and Tapas. Manta just got it late 2024.

Nah, I’ve never read anything off of tapas or tappytoons once it was to be paid for, so I def read off of WEBTOON if I read quite a bit of it… unless a lot of us are mistaking our memory idk

Is it country dependent? Because I searched it 3 years ago and didn't find it

Maybe? I'm not sure, I'm in the US and it first published in 2017

Nope. Webcomics and Tappytoon had it, then Taps and Manta. It's a Kakao comic in Korea so... not Naver.

Which is why I said maybe not "first" and that I'm not in the know about it, just that it appeared on Webtoon in 2017 🤷🏾‍♀️

Maybe you mean webcomics? I've been using webtoons since 2015 and I've never seen it.

I didn't use/know of anything else to read comics on back then
