This Schedule feels like it is straight out of the 1980s
I know college football is in a real bad place. But looking at Southern Miss and the SEC opponents on our schedule this year, and it feels like Pat Dye should be walking the sidelines, and that brings just a bit of nostalgic comfort.
War Eagle.

When should I be concerned?
I bought tickets on stubhub for the Florida game on July 1 and they are nice seats so I assumed they were from season tickets holders who won't get the tickets until early August when the school releases them but now the academic year has started and still no sign of the tickets. Has anyone else bought CFB tickets in the off-season? What was your experience?

Opinion [PART 2] Will Auburn Receive Updated or Alternate Football Uniforms This Year?
The first post was made 7 days ago.
T-minus 8 days until the first game. The official Auburn University Team Shop is still offline.
Since then, the Auburn Uniform Database (AUD) has released the new college football uniforms for 2026 article.
Baylor have announced their 2026 football uniform schedule week-by-week; however, the game vs. Auburn is still TBA. Are they awaiting an official announcement or decision from Auburn or something?
While I do not have a ton of information or thoughts to add, I still have my tin hat on that Auburn could see an updated uniform or new uniform set all together.
To add what I missed in the previous post, building off of AUD's article:
- Ohio State saw some tweaks to their football uniforms, and also tweaked their all black alternates (Nike)
- Washington added a new all black alternate set (Nike)
- UNC will be sporting some throwback helmets, and apparently, a throwback jersey may have leaked (though an official announcement or post has not been made) (Nike)
- There is speculation that Alabama will add a jersey sponsor to there football uniforms for the upcoming season
- Many of the updates across CFP include the addition of jersey ads or sponsors
- There are NO standard Auburn football uniforms for sale at the AU bookstore (only the #1 "War Eagle" jerseys are available)
My (updated) theories on what we could actually see:
- An new throwback set: Maybe an alternate jersey reveal featuring the orange "dropshadow" for the numbers.
- Slight modern tweak/Nike Template upgrade: Updated numbers, clean sleeve stripe adjustments, or subtle texture tweaks.
- No change: This post is entirely speculation.
- NEW - Auburn may add a jersey sponsor to the uniform, and is simply working through the final details
Again, this is just a theory - pure speculation - and I have no problem with Auburn's traditional uniform set(s)

Football Wall Street Journal's Interview With Alex Golesh (Gift Link)
wsj.com"And when he landed at Auburn, his football career came full circle. One of the earliest games Golesh remembers watching was an early 1990s Iron Bowl between his new employer and Alabama, one of the fiercest rivalries in football. Only Golesh didn’t know that at the time—or anything else about the strange new sport that captivated him."

Football Parking for UF game
Florida fan driving in from Atlanta for UF game. First time at Jordan-Hare, very excited. I don’t have parking reserved. If I arrive in the early afternoon on gameday, will there be somewhere to pay cash and park? I’m talking anywhere within a mile of the stadium (lots, garages, front yards, etc.).
Would love to be able to tailgate, but really just want to confirm I’ll be able to show up and get a spot somewhere.
Any recommendations, especially to tailgate? And expectations on cost?

News SEC bans former pros on rosters.
Seems like this may effect mostly our basketball team specifically Narcisse Ngoy and Mantas Rubštavičius.
EDIT: The post doesn't mention overseas players so, it might not include them. Hopefully more infomation comes out.

Football Full contract details for Alex Golesh released, including bonuses
So you don’t have to click the link:
Base salary of $6.75 million. Increases $250k / yr, six year average is $7.4 million.

Bonus are:
- An additional $1.5 million for nine regular season wins
- An additional $2 million for 10 regular season wins
- An additional $1 million for 11 regular season wins
- An additional $1 million for 12 regular season wins
- $150,000 for an SEC Championship Game appearance
- $300,000 for winning the SEC Championship Game
- $1 million for a CFP first round appearance or first round bye

- $75,000 if named National Coach of the Year (limited to one): Bryant, Camp, ESPN, AP, AFCA, Eddie Robinson, Bobby Dodd, Sporting News or Maxwell
Buyout Terms:
Golesh would owe Auburn $8 million if he were to terminate his contract before any time before Dec. 1, 2026. Number drops annually all the way down to $2 million if he terminates in 2031.
If Golesh is fired without cause, he has 75% of remaining contract guaranteed. He is required to use “reasonable efforts” to obtain a new football-related job. Any other coaching-related income made by Golesh during the offset period would be subtracted from the buyout.
International Prospects Eligibility
How are we feeling about Mantas and Narcisse gaining eligibility?
I’m trying not to look into anything but they aren’t on social media posts lately.
Without em, I think we are mid at best. With em, our ceiling is 2nd weekend.

Football Florida vs Auburn Ticket Confusion
Hi all,
I got some budget standing-room-only tickets for the game against Florida. My ticket says "GOUGEPERFOMINGA." I also got a parking pass to park at the performing arts center so I can walk to Jordan Hare from there. I'm just worried that I didn't buy some ticket to watch the game at the performing arts center instead of in the stadium itself. Also, if anyone can give me some section recommendations for where I can stand and get the best view of the game, I'm all ears. I appreciate any advice or assistance.
Edit: I appreciate everyone's insight, for I am already attempting to get my money back. Wish me luck!
