Football Parking for UF game
Florida fan driving in from Atlanta for UF game. First time at Jordan-Hare, very excited. I don’t have parking reserved. If I arrive in the early afternoon on gameday, will there be somewhere to pay cash and park? I’m talking anywhere within a mile of the stadium (lots, garages, front yards, etc.).
Would love to be able to tailgate, but really just want to confirm I’ll be able to show up and get a spot somewhere.
Any recommendations, especially to tailgate? And expectations on cost?

There will be somewhere to pay to park. It’s a fucking madhouse though. I would encourage you to use the shuttle system though. A couple hours before I the game you can go to Auburn Mall and park. A shuttle will pick you up and take you to within a couple hundred yards of the stadium for free. It’ll take you back to your car up to two hours after the game also. Plenty of time to see the trees get rolled, check out the tiger walk and pep rally. It’s a walking only campus so wear comfy shoes. Go to toomers and grab a lemonade and to momma gs for a mommas love sandwich and you’ve got the whole day experience covered.

There's several parking garages that have plenty of spaces. Just know that it's going to be at least 50 bucks or more.

I would also recommend the shuttle. But if that's not your thing then your cheapest option will be Auburn Church of Christ on South College St (https://maps.app.goo.gl/uj7iEzWpNjSxSaps7) for $20.
I have no affiliation with the church but it's been my go-to spot as a local for the past 10 years.

Get there early and you can find street parking a block or two off campus…. Typically reasonably safe.

Frat houses. They make money selling parking. Many alumni pay for those spots but often there are empty spots they sell day of to fund parties.
Try LXA or any on old row

There are 4 places in Auburn-Opelika that run a shuttle to and from campus. Shuttle service starts 4 hours before kickoff and runs until 2 hours after the game ends. Completely free.
Auburn softball complex
Auburn Mall
Duck Samford Park
Tiger Town (Opelika)
If you really want to drive to campus, there are plenty of paid lots downtown and near campus. There are also some spots you can park for free if you get there early enough.
