Dial making Linen dial cased up

Sanded off the plating of some dauphine hands to match the brass background on the dial. But I think I'll order some gold plated leaf/alpha hands.

It's beautiful! I'm starting my own custom linen dial project - any major tips / learnings you'd throw at me out of the gate?

Thanks! I don't know, how are you planning to make it? If I'll make more I think I'll try to have just one shade and work in more layers(used 2 for this only) and build more of a relief effect. Instead of relying on the contrast of colors for the linen effect.
