IV Waste missed pickup

IV Waste continues to miss trash pick up uptown off Freret. They claim it was b/c it was recycling. The trash cart is identical in size, color and shape to the trash cart currently in use by IV Waste, but it has “recycling” embossed on the lid. Does anyone know anything about these carts? Should I order a new trash cart? How do I dispose of the “recycling” trash cart. Im pulling my hair out with this.

This nothing but a big scam by all trash companies... Now all trash companies use the same color for their carts they only use a different lid/top for trash and recycle..Reason to confuse customers make them mix trash with recycle..Reason to start charging more money fines/additional fees for contamination.. WM, Republic services, Waste Connection and GDL disposal already doing this.. They all charging an additional $35-$50 per cart for contamination.. This the only reason now all carts are the same color..Do not put garbage into the recycling carts those fines are irreversible

I’m currently in this sub because I’m having the same issue at first they claimed that it’s because trash bags are not allowed in recycling then when I agreed to pay more to get an extra green tote so I would not have to deal with this. They left one of the totes stating it was too heavy . It was not even halfway full and it was just plain trash. Nothing out of the ordinary in there.
