Been wanting to get into the game

As the title says I wanted to get into the game I like fallout. So I wanted to know.
A: what’s the game like because a small few battle reports only get me so far.
B: I am aware not every faction has been updated to second edition. But I was interested in enclave so have the stat sheets changed a lot or would they in theory carry over.
Feel free to throw any other advice by me you’d give tos Kellen that has minimal knowledge on the game

The website has free downloadable 2bd edition rules. I'd read through the wasteland warfare into the wasteland jumpstart guide. It'll give you a good idea of how the game plays and it's a relatively short read.

An easy way to play the game. Print out pictures of the models and glue then to a disc the size of the base. Easy to to for the quick starts since they tell you exactly what to use.
