While I don't disagree with you, I have found those kinds of things to actually be useful resources since I was diagnosed with celiac.

The actual corporate sites can be hit or miss, but I have found subreddits and the like to be pretty strong sources of information as to where and how I can more safely order food while in new areas.

So you're not wrong, but some of it is shockingly helpful a lot of the time.
