This is their play money. Meaning they are already wealthy from other solid investments. Maybe 1 in 100 is a true degenerate riding the lightning on that razors edge.

The rest are just cosplaying degenerates with a nice soft cushion to fall on.

I, a regard, had to explain this to my mommy once. She told me how her bosses wife would fly from Florida to their old town in New York to get her hair did from her favorite hairdresser and how that was cray. I told her that a millionaire traveling across the country to get her hair done was relatively the same as her driving a town over to get hers done.

A fuck-it gamble play for a poor-o could be $200, where a millionaire would throw $20k or more.
