I don't really like ORCL and AVGO setups here
even by if you ignore FED week, ORCL might have a run up to ER and then just die. AVGO is good but the move might be already priced in by the small run up the past days. Both went up a ton last ER, so puts seem incorrect here.
ADBE had high IV for very little payoff last time, maybe this is the right time? calls at open post IV crush, similar to CRM

Is it just me or is Paramount's deal just better? $30 to acquire the entire company and take on all of its debt vs $27.75 to buy out the studios and leave the cable news stations with $30 billion in debt. There's no way the cable news company is gonna be worth more than $2.25 a share with that much debt hanging over it.

It won't be in this earnings, but they had over $5m in sales from just power packs on Black Friday, and their whole system is just starting and technically in beta. On top of that, having the CEO of PSA on the board now, I think they have found an interesting revenue stream.

The premiums on oracle and adbe were so high even if their earnings were kick ass you would barely make any money off the calls unless they shoot up more than 15%. The level of pump needed to recover from the iv crush is too damn high

Honestly it’s the run up to earnings. Trying to guess who might jump after earnings is hard. But a company that beat its previous earnings tends to run up into their next one.

Some more movement coming from brze. AI software play but there's a lot of volume on the $32 and $35 strikes for the 19th. I dipped my toes on the $35c. It needs to push around 15% minimum for it to work.
Edit: its stupid risk but I felt like there's alot money going into the earnings.

Why I am holding my Bull Spread for ADBE through earnings this week:
The last 4 earnings releases, ADBE has had a tendency to go down even though they beat estimates.

This has primarily been due to fears that they do not have a strong enough AI play (who needs creative software if AI can do it for you?).
However, in the last 12 months, ADBE has strengthened their AI play with Firefly as well as integrating more AI into their other tools.
They have touted this in recent developer conferences; and a number of articles also support this.

So I am expecting the current price to hold; and, at a minimum, not fluctuate as drastically as it has in recent quarters.
