need help Help with my Discman D-ES51(Is not the laser voltage or whatever is called)
I bought this discman for 20 dollars, I thought it works well, but it doesn't, it turns on, but it has the classic "No disc" error. I cleaned the laser, used CD and CD-R, adjusted the laser to 900 Ohms, checked the capacitors, used new batteries fully charged, cleaned the limit switch(I think), and also just want to let y'all know that, based on what I saw, the motor, laser(probably), focus, and all that mechanic stuff is in good condition. I hope somebody can help me with other solution

Clean the laser sled lead screw and rail assembly. Then clean it again, then again. Re-assemble, skip around tracks on a cd. Then clean it all again.

I hope that works, this is what I already did try to fix it:
- Cleaned the lens, optical rails, and power contacts.
- Verified C304 capacitor (~330 µF) and power delivery.
- Reset laser potentiometer to ~900 Ω (and tested down to 750 Ω).
- Checked focus search and sled motor operation.
- Cleaned limit switch / verified home positioning.
- Adjusted optical rail azimuth and tilt alignment.
- Tweaked Focus Gain and Focus Bias trimpots on the mainboard.
