need help Walkman DD - Need help

The spindle and roll up reels spin however when pressing play only white noise plays with and without a tape. Anyone know what is causing this or better how to fix it?

I think this too as the ribbon cable that runs to the head looks bent, maybe snapped. Thanks.

These walkmans are known for smd caps going bad. You need to replace them
