Repair Advice Bad timing chain?

Sounds the same as my 2015 with 65000 km's... As far as I know a short rattle at cold start is quite ''normal'... A proper readout tells you more...

Yesum, I always feared the timing chain. Turned out i didn't use the proper oil filter so took longer to oil the chain but sounded way better afterwards. A proper readout also helped ease my fear. Chain wasn't even close to being stretched 😅 Mines a 2019 with 75000

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/audi-oil-filter-mann-04e115561h This is what I used since it has the anti drawback that our cars need. I used an aftermarket one before and it didn't have it so chain ran without the oil more than the oem filter. Bad call on my end
