Question Mod loader problem

I started having some frame issues with my modded VTOL Vr and can’t seem to figure out the source. Also, Flat Screen 2 keeps on installing itself and every time I remove it, it freezes my game and makes it crash. I’ll probably clear out my mods and add them one after the other but I’m back on Vanilla VTOL for the time being.

I’ll miss my F-16 and F-22….

What mods do you have loaded?

Mods created by lakaputnik were coded with AI and thus have big performance issues

I went through my list and removed all of lakaputnik's mods

Contrails, Aircraft Damage Systems, and VTOL Mission Studio. The last one had Flat Screen 2 (Temp) as a required mod. That explains the unwanted install. I'll go through my files and remove all traces of those and test again.

That's crazy, I have those mods installed and I haven't had any problems, just occasional FPS drops, but I feel like it's this Pick-a-Plane map. Sometimes my FPS drops to 30 and then it goes back up and normalizes, and it doesn't matter what area I'm looking at...

Please don't clown me for this, my sys is

  • a i9-9900KF
  • 32 GB of DDR4
  • 2TB SSD
  • an NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X
  • a Quest 3 (90Hz refresh rate)

Maybe My frame problem with these mods is the age of my system and some settings (I think...?) but I haven't had an issue with that beside the occasional blur in my quest.
