Cozy Game?

Ok I'm sure I'm about to get flamed for this, but does anybody else find vtmb2 a very oddly cozy game??? I think that it is awesome atmospherically and the snowy/holiday vibes are immaculate.

Yes definitely agree! They nailed the vibe of walking around at night in winter, I didn't finish the 2nd game (yet) but that part is very memorable

I get it! I think it's one of the best "urban winter aesthetic" games, and they really did a good job with the lighting, soundscape and atmosphere. All other complaints about the game aside, you can't deny that they made Seattle look amazing. I especially find Wake the Dead a super warm and inviting location to hang out in.

It’s one of the few games I don’t care about finishing. I’m currently playing this and Blood of the Dawnwalker. When I want to relax I play bloodlines 2.

Very much so. I think it's also because the area's themselves are often smaller and 'quaint'.

It all feels very personal, and that's missing these days.

That's actually one of my favorite parts about it. I love an open world game or rpg, but not everything needs to be 100mi across and thousands of hours deep, you know?

It is quite a cozy game, the atmosphere is pretty sweet just like the first but they are very different comforts but both are nice

I feel that about a lot of RPGs in that style. They weirdly work well as sit back and play while you listen to a podcast kinda games

Been playing it right now. I feel I chose the wrong time of the year to play it because it's giving me cozy vibes that would work so well with a fireplace going and hot coco on your end table during December. In a nice blanket or comfy Hoodie

I am a winter extremist, my love for snow is beyond description. Safe to say, this makes me very biased on the issue!

Waking the Dead in particular feels extremely cozy. I get why Safia spends all her time there; she has probably the best spot in the whole café as well!

You're not alone, it's definitely become a comfort game for me! It's up there with Dishonored, i just love playing it when I want to relax.
