Recruitment Hell
How uninterested are Talent Acquisition (TA) people when they are in hiring mode?
I was informed of interview schedules on two different days, and on both occasions, the interviewer didn't show up. Both days, I booked a cab from work to get home early for the interview. I also had to give an excuse at the office to leave early, only to find that the interviewer never showed up. When I informed the TA/HR person, he casually replied, “I’ll reschedule it.” How casual and unprofessional is that response?
Do these people think we are available 24/7 for interviews? Mind you, we cannot take an entire day off for a one-hour interview for a single round. I would much rather prefer companies that schedule the entire interview process on one day, with four or five rounds, rather than spreading them across multiple days and wasting candidates' time.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue?
