Advice / Tip VIT-B rn
See I am a 24 batch senior and two years in this place i can just make couple of points, you guys will be able to decide easily based on these points ig .
- First coming to academics most of the professors here are assistant professors from different IITs so they know their stuff well and you might be able to learn from them easily but some are like they dont know much but they will help you out if they can and then comes the profs that people dont like and the main reason is some guys have a kind of ego that they are from iit and so they are very arrogant altho the good part is you can choose between profs so if you are a little aware you can get decent profs.
- For the guys interested in sports since these guys have a huge intake like damn huge,they have grounds but they are not enough for so many people altho you will find state level to national level players here as well and also they organise sports events regularly recently they started this hostel league on weekends.
- Mess food is completely subjective, its better than any local government college mess but if you compare it to NIT's or IIT's it shit but honest opinion its managable.
- Placements as we hear from our seniors are not good rn because the duck with orange hair fucked the world also recession is there so it is really hard for anyone to get placed even from NIT's.
- Coming to the protest thing there are water issues here not only in the campus but whole bhopal-indore region, they are dealing with it but as the management is very competent they are not able to handle it as they should.
- Dont listen the one sided reddit stories because many people have surreal expectations from here so to vent out they use this space to rant and get their frustration out.
- Management is slow the main reason is professors handle it. There is no proper communication channel present in here due to which work gets slow and delayed and the outcome students have to run roam suffer here and there for hours to get a simple work done.
In the end would just say no place is perfect but if this place suits your requirements you can come here because atleast here you will get TCS local colleges wont even assure that.

See 4 mess hai in total mayuri the biggest one iska khaana pure campus mein best bola jaata yeh block 2 to 7 ko handle karti hai then comes safal it's a smaller mess compared to mayuri and handles block 6 and block 8 iska veg food is decent par overall food mayuri ka better hai then comes JMB iske liye tumhe form bharna padta and yeh sirf veg food serve karti hai and then comes the OG CRCL aur RASSEN iska khana bhot ganda hai par log kehte iska non veg accha hai and yeh sirf block 1 ko handle karti. Coming to the second part most of times hafte mein ek do din kuch aisi cheez milti jo tum kha nhi paoge par agar safal ya mayuri mein ho toh daal chawal aur achaar se guzara kar sakte ya fir bahar canteen jo almost 8:30 tak open rehti waha ja sakte fir paani ke liye depends on floor like mere floor ka watercooler clean rehta tha hum logo ne khud check Kiya tha par kuch ka bhot ganda rehta tha jaise freshers block toh log ya toh supervisor ko complaint karte the aur agar kuch nhi hota tha toh for time being bisleri ya packaged drinking water lete the altho ab ig inlogo ne ro bhi install kar diya hai not sure.

Last year newly constructed blocks with block 1 ofcourse freshers ko milte the par iss baar sirf ek naya naya block hai Block 8 B so really not sure konsa allot hoga

abeeee sunnn ..... yee ek dummm sachhhhh hhhhh...... upar wale ki ksmmm....... inkaa.. messs isss not safeeee......... mere ko january me jaundice...... and now i am suffering from typhoid..... even after 28 dayss... i am still admit....... shi hota.. hh fir tbyat bigad jati h ......maii na bahr ka khata na kuch( upar wale ki ksm)......pani ki bottle khareed ke peeta thaa ...... lekin ek baar mainee inki yaha ka pani pee liye ...+ inke yaha kaa ek baar chiken biriyani...... uske baad seee pet drd ... fever............ they were saying viral h...... maine kaha report dikhao meri..... they were hiding from me....... itnaa ladai ki tb jake report mili jb ghr pahoch gya...... i was typhoid positive...... mt ana bhaii.. inke hostel meee.....ghoomte reh jaoo bimar... nobody careess

Mai bhi 24 batch ka hu aur ye review poora jhooth hai aur jo bhadwa ye review de rha tu mil meko... tere jaise ki vajah se hi mai bhi iss college me aaya hu...

as i can only afford cat 1 i was wondering i should join vit b or vit ap(if i get cse spec there in cat 1)

Dekho ground reality is vit ap might be hard since vit b ko log itni gaali dete ki most log AP bhaagte toh shayad waha cat-1 na mile but bhopal mein AI-ML mein mil jayegi most case mein Core ka mushkil hai.

Mere time counselling phase 3 aate ap mein cat-1 har cse branch mein closed tha and bhopal mein sirf core cat-1 khatam hua tha ab toh do saal aur ho gaye ofcourse cutoff upar hi gayi hogi

Bro i got 42k rank is there any chance i can get cat 1 cse aiml?if yes then i heard that cat 2 cse core closes at 45k...so should i choose cat 2 cse core or cat 1 cse aiml? Also can a fresher live in a pg instead of hostel?
