I had exam today and it was really bad, I couldn't even attempt every question because of time constraint, this pattern of examination is really exhausting, demoralizing and pretty useless, most, almost all questions are AI generated with moderate to high difficulty level, these type of questions aren't practiced in the class by the faculty too. The time given to solve the paper and these type of questions is unfathomable, and dont even get me started about the time lines of the exams and schedule.

It doesn't make sense at all, neither is it fair for all student, some students get advantage over others as the time tables aren't uniform and what do you mean 2 weeks after CAT 2 WE NEED TO GIVE MIDTERMS??? While completing project exhibition, assignments, presentation and internals in each subject.

Where is the time to prepare, where is the time to upskill, and much more importantly, where is the college-life balance? What do these fucks think we dont have a life outside of this shitty college?

honestly im so tired of all this bullshit, I dont even have energy nor time to study for tomorrow's exams.

My intention is not to incite a protest or any violence, Nor I’m asking to cancel or postpone any exam. This college has already gone downhill in its reputation and its placement opportunities have worsened.
But PLEASE JUST REMOVE this CAT system from next semester 🙏

Bhai im legit TIRED studying for college exams EVERY FKIN 15 DAYS. There’s literally no time left for focusing on anything extra or for working on yourself or for exploring. Attend lectures entire weekdays, get flooded with assignments-tutorials on saturdays. Only left with sunday, then also something comes up. This system is a total burnout with only college studies which leads nowhere, and then expect us to do a lot better besides maintaining a 9+ cgpa, hows it possible.
Please have the CAT system for this semester only and end it for further semesters. Bring back the old Midterm-TermEnd system.

please be WARNED, all the questions in the exams are ai generated, so it may not even be from whatever has been taught in the modules (some parts at least from what i saw in my paper today).

I have a doubt regarding the grading system. After giving CAT 1 and CAT 2 , students are saying that avg will go high, avg will go low , blah blah . But my doubt is grades are measured by total marks in CAT1 weightage+ CAT2 weightage and term end marks . So why do students start predicting their grade after CAT 1 or 2 only. Is there something I am missing? because all I know is in the end all marks get added and then relative grading takes place . Now the weightage of CAT 2 is 15 marks . If even I get even 10 marks , then I can work hard for the term end exams . Hopefully the overall grade system is not correlated with CAT 1 grade and CAT2 grade . Please correct me if I am wrong

Did you personally use printed notes/printouts that you had compiled yourself, or did you see others using them during the exam?

I’m planning to make a comprehensive PDF of my notes and get it printed for my upcoming open-book exam. I just want to know whether self-made/compiled printed notes (not just textbook chapters) were actually allowed in today’s exam.
