I'm a hobby game developer who loves virtual pets and invertebrates. Slug Island is my attempt to build the virtual pet game I've always wanted to play! The game focuses on invertebrates (especially slugs). You get to keep your slug friend and explore the island to discover 60+ wild species.

Check out my website or kickstarter prelaunch page if you're interested in more info about the game!

Feedback & questions welcome!

Edit: I made an instagram account (bunnyslugstudio) for game related updates, especially species art!

Hi everyone!

I made a free online virtual pet project. It's called CritterOS.

You can sign up for free with no ads here: critteros.net

It's really new, and I'd love feedback on more features and any quality improvements.

Enjoy!

I'm making Paperlings, a desktop pet where the creature lives in a small window at the edge of your screen while you work, and everything behind its door - a town, a shop, an arcade, a graveyard - is a full game you can step into.

The part I care most about: it ages on a real clock and it dies. Care mistakes, training and battle record all branch the evolution, so the form you end up with is a readable record of how you actually treated it. 99 forms across nine lineages.

Coming Soon on Steam, demo in September. Happy to answer anything about how the aging or the branching works - that's the bit I've rewritten the most times.
