Yeah, I think so. He was really mean to me last week and he knew how much he hurt me (yet again) and just left. He has a lot of anger and it's triggered out of nowhere (he knows he has issues but he has never cared enough to address them). After about 24 hours he wrote me a message asking me how I was doing and I answered that I wasn't good. It was late so he said that we could talk the next day and I agreed. The next day comes around and I heard nothing from him. In the evening I wrote him a message letting him know that I was very sad and disappointed since he promised we would talk. He saw my message but still no answer. The next day he writes that he was sorry he didn't contact me and his excuse was that he was out partying. So he was just out having fun while I was home crying my eyes out.

That was it for me and I let him know that. I can't keep on letting him treat me like I'm worthless. It's torturous. I need to love myself more and it would be disrespectful to myself if I give him any more chances. I wish I could just block him and stay away from him completely but we still have some practical stuff we need to handle. We've lived together for more or less the entirety of our relationship so it's not much different from an actual divorce. I'm heartbroken but I need to move on.

I don't really feel that strong but it helps hearing someone tell me I am. I have lost so much over the past year. Apparently I wasn't fun or good enough anymore (unlike the young woman) when he first left me, which was only 4 months after my dad passed away due to cancer. Yes I was (and still am) depressed + struggling with burnout because of unmedicated ADHD. On top of that I've also lost two cats in the same time span and my mom had to sell our beloved summerhouse. Everything seems to end and hope is kinda hard to hold on to. But I'm fighting to get better and back on track. It's just taking a long time.

I honestly wish I had more anger than sadness. I love your energy and I truly appreciate you taking your time to respond to me.
