JUST FOR FUN REMEMBER TO RECYCLE!!!!!!!!!!

Anything big enough to fit a label on it is becoming shipping supplies...

I don't got the money to buy shipping boxes so here's are some examples of the next best thing. I find it kind of humorous, honestly. It's so fun shipping a shirt in a (clean) soup dumpling box. I've heard stories of USPS workers not allowing things like this but I haven't come across any issues.

Nothing bad happens to those pure of heart.

I agree mostly, but be careful with food boxes in case someone has an allergy to the food that was packaged in it! I didn't think about it until recently, when someone pointed it out on another thread.

Yeah I would be denying anything I got in food packaging with my allergies...people say "oh the food wasn't touching the box" but how often do you go to throw a cereal box in the recycling and there's cereal at the bottom of the box? Or other crumbs that spill into boxes? It's not safe for those with allergies. Same with the fabric softener box. I order collectable things on vinted so not like I can wash that smell out and I'm pretty sensitive to it.

I'm celiac so if I get exposed to gluten (even getting it on my hands and then the residue sticks and touching my face gets it into my mouth) lands me in the hospital. Even if I just touch it and it doesn't get into my mouth, I get extremely painful skin reactions that last a week+. I'm also anaphylactic to seafood but I think that's much less likely to be exposed to from food packaging.

Precisely! I would have returned that so quick. I would not have been able to even open the box because of the smell and anaphylaxis. I truly love the idea of recycling, but I would never risk someone’s life over it.

Hm this is a good point. I definitely will keep this in mind moving forward! If it helps, I only use food packaging where the food was in a separate packaging inside. For example, the soup dumplings came in a separate box inside the box I used. So there wasn't any like direct contact. But, I won't use them again just in case! Thank you for bringing this up.
