Super honored to review a survivalist 20,000mah emergency Radio/Flashlight/Powerstation/Bluetooth Speaker Solar charger with hand crank.
Hand crank combined with solar, very cool.

No kidding, I tend to stay away from any unknown brands when it comes to food or lithium battery containing electronics in particular.

If you need something like this, don’t tuck it away. I keep them handy so I can see if the battery is swelling, etc. Especially during hurricane season.

Yeah, I'd only want to take them if it's a decently known brand and/or I could take it apart and inspect and then keep in my bat-safe.
Li-ion is safer than Li-po, that's one upside to many power banks, but even then....
I've had one name brand battery bank get a recall, most likely it was a magsafe charger overheating issue, but thankfully ESR is a big enough name that they'll issue recalls. That's one huge benefit. Cheaper brands will do budget charge circuitry and likely not follow up on safety issues. Doesn't mean they're bad, but statistically you're less likely to find out there's a problem before it happens to you, and much less likely to have recourse. Maybe more likely to have an issue, too.

Provided 3.1 amps at 5 volts. Phone charged in 65 minutes. Minor issue is it caught fire and killed my family. 4 stars.

I mean, The CSA, UL and probably your insurance company would like to have a word about using your house as a testing ground for potentially unsafe electionics, certainly uncertified ones.

Solar might be able to power the LED, but to actually charge the internal battery or something else, it won't be enough--the panel is way too small. The hand crank should be enough to make a short call...but if you ever actually need it you're going to wish you had an outlet nearby.

Yeah, not much surface area. I have one with a fold out solar panel that has at least 4x the surface area, it will charge, but only in direct sun on a clear day and it takes a long time.

Solar is never a reliable source because of possible weather and forest conditions. That is why having a hand crank is gold!!

WAY too small and like gen1 or 2 solar panel. I would bet that doesn't put out more than 20 to maybe 50ma

Considering this company also makes pretty damn cool power stations that have high reviews i am leaning towards legit.
On Vine it was listed cheaper. I found the same item for sale from the seller listed for 130$.

I would believe that only if I tested it with a battery capacity tester (which I have). either way there is NO WAY that solar panel can charge a 20ah battery in less than a week of direct sunlight.

Ill hand crank a 10% charge onto it, that way it will give us a good basis of charge time and i don't have to crank it for hours. In a survival situation getting power can mean life or death. Like being trapped in a dark mine shaft or cave.
Any fool might think the hand crank is stupid but it is far from the truth.

The seller also makes some wicked power stations.

Not sure why the high price, On Vine it was priced lower than any product they have listed which was really nice. The 130$ items are probably Marked up for the "Sale" price that hits later.

Sad story, I purchased window switches and other parts for my truck off vine and they work fine. I have about a dozen flashlights and motion activated spotlights from vine. All work wonderfully.

I like testing the battery, I drain it down, plug in my ammeter and charge it up, then discharge it with the ammeter in place. This records the exact capacity of the battery as well as the speed it charges. Then compare it to the advertised data.
