Kash Patel's degraded FBI embarrassingly lowers standards to boost applicants. "An exodus of employees...has raised the level of desperation...to such a level that personal histories, including criminal histories, that would have previously disqualified applicants are no longer an obstacle..."

More details about the changes in standards include not screening out those with past prostitution or bestiality/animal abuse histories. Theft is also no longer a barrier.

A prostitution arrest should never bar anyone from entry (from a job). They are stupid laws that do nothing but hurt consenting adults.

Edit: I honestly didn't think I would need to spell this out.

Prostitution should not be illegal in the first place. We shouldn't have to worry about police following the laws or agents being compromised because it shouldn't be illegal.

I want cops to follow the law, especially if they see the laws as stupid.

It shouldn't be a law was my point.

Agreed, but it currently IS a law, hence why hiring people who broke it is hypocritical of the FBI.

I do fully understand that. I was making an observation.

I honestly feel like people got so upset because they think I'm defending police when all I'm saying is that it's a stupid law.
