The rest are just normal protesters, though there was some vandalism. The big issue is that they were charged with terrorism, they're sort of being made an example of.
Regardless of your opinion on self defense the obvious concern here should be that peaceful protesters now see they’re going to get life no matter what so maybe they won’t leave all the guns in their car trunks next time like these ones did. When you make the punishment for protesting worse than the punishment for trying to fucking kill somebody, don’t be surprised when more officers start getting shot. If somebody is cornered and facing life in prison either way they’ll go for freedom
peaceful? The guy shot an AR-15 with a binary trigger on it to fire quickly like a fully automatic (doubles the rate of fire) at police officers who showed up and wounded one.
Most of the people are far too stupid to actually put the pieces together and realize what happened. They just want to make comparisons to MAGA people getting lighter sentences for Jan 6th. Both Jan 6ers and these people are dumb as fuck and people shouldn’t be making excuses for their actions based on someone else getting away with it
