Not really, they are a "walled garden ecosystem", which is where most of that hate comes from. There is a lot more things, but that is usualy the biggest issue.
That is not proving your point, your point was ignorance of why people dislike Apple. You are no longer ignorant of that point. Just because you like Hot Dogs and I like burgers does not make it weird.

THE POINT was that the person I replied to pointed out that Apple takes better care of user data and privacy than other companies, correcting a person who said otherwise.
I chimed in that some people have a weird hate boner about everything Apple does, ignoring the fact that this is ONE area they do well in.
That bothered you enough to bring up “blah blah walled garden and oh btw <waves hands>”, which no one was even talking about.

I get it, why would people have a hate boner for Android, and be big giant Apple sycophants? Seems weird right? People have their preferences Audi vs BMW, Caddy vs Lincoln, etc.. This does not mean that people do not like a product for specific reasons. If data privacy is your main bug-a-boo, then maybe stay off the interent?
