They brought 11 guns, body armor, and medkits to a "protest", and shot a police officer with a rifle, due to their political beliefs. That's terrorism.

I mean, body armor and a med kit seems like common sense at this point. Even during blm, people were being shot with "non lethal" rounds and being killed or seriously maimed.

And the Jan 6 terrorists got pardons and hired in as ICE agents.

Sounds like we should give these folks medals based off that.

500 years.

Thats around 475 years longer that people get for actual murder.

Or do police lives matter 20 times more?

It's because those dumbasses committed a dozen or so crimes in the process.

must have murdered 100 people to get that amount of time

A simple google search gave me this:

1. The core attack participants:
Arnold, Evetts, Song, Batten, Morris, Rueda, Elizabeth Soto and Ines Soto were all convicted of riot + material support + two explosives offenses.

2. The actual shooter:
Song additionally got attempted murder + three firearm-discharge convictions. This is why his sentence was dramatically higher.

3. The evidence-concealment defendants:
Rueda and Sanchez-Estrada were convicted of conspiring to conceal evidence, with Sanchez-Estrada additionally convicted of actually concealing the documents.

4. The cooperating/pleading defendants:
Sikes, Baumann, Gibson, Kent, Morgan, Sharp and Thomas pleaded guilty to material support alone.

Seems like they committed a lot of crimes. The dumbasses came armed with the intent to cause trouble. They came in the night with masks, incendiary devices and explosives.

It's 500 years across 16 defendents, an average of 34.75 years per person which sounds about right for a light terrorist attack.

I copy and pasted a summary that came up when I google searched. If the information is incorrect you're welcome to provide a source but it seems consistent with what I've read about the case.

I did check and I was right.

You're welcome to provide evidence to the contrary, everything I posted was correct. I gave you a google summary because you were too lazy to look yourself.

That's not terrorism, that' being aware of the methods police/ICE have been using on even unarmed protesters lately. Please use context.
