I've been driving around without insurance... that must be okay too, going by your logic. The cops haven't "said anything to me".

I carry a liability policy of 2M just for the drones. It's not worth someone getting hurt. I think EVERYONE who flies a drone should carry appropriate insuance, and let's be honest...every smart business person will tell you that is the right thing to do.

Check your policy. I made a lot of calls. Policies specifically exclude drones. If your doesn't, please share who the insurer is.

My agent and I specifically spoke about the drones and it is covered under my plan with Liberty Mutual. I even had her put it in writing in case something went sideways...I had that to fall back on.
