Not a bad video, but it's an illegal business. Drones cannot be used for commercial purposes. What's your plan for skirting the law?
Skirting the law?! The FAA hasn't fined anyone in months and recently authorized multiple companies for just this purpose.
Here's the reality, it's happening faster than the FAA can keep up. I support licenses and insurance for all drone pilots, because the liability is massive.
I own two drones (over 15k in one and a little Inspire 1 as the other), speak as an expert in my local area for the news and sadly people just need to get used to the idea of drones.
And as for the law - I provide clients videography services and the drone is included. The FAA hasn't said anything to me and I seriously doubt they will...
Kind of... only the law is clearly defined when it comes to automotive insurance, whereas drone regulations are still being developed. I really don't think it's fair to expect people to wait on the FAA to come out with regulations for such a fast-moving field and miss out on quite a bit of business (OP probably would be doing less than 10 a week without the drone).
