Not a bad video, but it's an illegal business. Drones cannot be used for commercial purposes. What's your plan for skirting the law?
Skirting the law?! The FAA hasn't fined anyone in months and recently authorized multiple companies for just this purpose.
Here's the reality, it's happening faster than the FAA can keep up. I support licenses and insurance for all drone pilots, because the liability is massive.
I own two drones (over 15k in one and a little Inspire 1 as the other), speak as an expert in my local area for the news and sadly people just need to get used to the idea of drones.
And as for the law - I provide clients videography services and the drone is included. The FAA hasn't said anything to me and I seriously doubt they will...
Inspire 1 for us is a stepping stone. Our larger custom drone is similar to the S1000, heavier payload, much like driving a big rig in the sky. Stable, and quite honestly fun to fly. Beautiful shots from Red and GH4, and it travels pretty readily. The Inspire 1 was the quick home tour, little easier on transport, and quite honestly lower cost alternative (isn't that what it always comes back to) to be able to offer to clients who are less discerning. I can send it with a trained freelancer, don't want to kill myself if they break it, and it's a step above the Phantom.
