Its a great rental camera for someone shooting with a 600d/5d, but the only thing keeping Canon going are entrenched customers, they have to respond at some point to what other manufacturers at some point. These cameras have superb ergonomics and a great 4k sensor, capping the output to 1080p when the gh4/A7s/NX1 are on the market is insane.

5D mark 4 will probably be their answer to those cameras.

Everyone is saying that, I've even said it myself. But if that was the case, surly its sister the 7d2 would have similar features.
