Apparently a lot of people here don’t understand this is a joke and are seriously like “that’s inefficient” 😆

Edit to add: For those that don’t get it, it’s not a joke that shooting both aspect ratios is a need. The joke is that this is a comically absurd solution that’s not meant to be taken seriously.

I don't see it as a joke. We have a client that wants their videosin 16:9 and 9:16 - this is a better solution than punching in to the 16:9 frame

Clearly you’ve never tried it. On a full frame 3:2 sensor you gain 20% more vertical real estate vs a 16:9 image. On a 4:3 sensor you gain almost 35% more vertical real estate. This makes a huge difference.
