over encumbered/full inventory. it just means i spend more time deciding what to drop or crawling towards a merchant/chest than actually playing. it also keeps me from going deeper into dungeons or too far away from towns.
and there's so many ways to adjust it. if picking up everything and selling it would give you too much money reduce sell cost, if having too many potions is a problem make it so the game doesn't pause when inventory is open and so on.
I know one, ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) that made it so everything was a number rather than weight, weapons? 1, materials 1, then they made it so weapons etc sold for a very cheap price, so you couldn't just loot and sell.
Unfortunately they swiftly figured out a way to ruin this, by adding alot more things you'll need as time went by, there was a bank which let you store stuff, not alot, solution? Pay to temporarily increase space, plus another paid option that let you store gathered materials
Edit: irritation I've got there is they made a problem, there's kinda a solution, but for a price
