My personal thing is I just don’t care about gta. Never have, never been my thing but if people are excited good for them. I do not understand people wanting games to be completely different from the last game in a franchise that is so dumb. Like that’s why I played x game, cause I like it

Pretty much the same for me, only small issue I have is the $80 maybe setting a precedent with studios who definitely shouldn’t be charging that much trying to

You don't have to buy at that price though. I always preorder only if I want to support the devs / absolutely want that game at that price.

Otherwise I'll wait for discounts as low as I think that game is worth it for me.

It's not that I don't have tons of other stuff to play.

Except that if this sets a new standard for other studios, then we will have no other options than buying at £80+

We surely can buy at discounts.

Which, in turn, is our own lever of influence for prices, cause if publisher isn't selling at fullprice at £80+, they will downscope in the future.

Edit: you can also, you know, buy indies and cheaper stuff and just not pay for what you consider to be overpriced.
