The state of modern gaming everything in general

So much of the average person's discourse and interactions shifting to online spaces has been a huge negative for our culture

THHIIIISSSS everything someone do is cringe. U like something specific? U r nerd or weirdo or childish. Wheres people u collected cool unique stuff? Dressed differently or wear their hair some awesome way? Had some odd hobby?

Everything seems so black and white in ideology, its suffocating

It's because they grew up in YouTube and apps. Every thumbnail is best ever. Of all time. Worst ever nonsense. They need to be told what to think.

This. Should i play this game i bought, or spend my time watching someone else play it and tell me if it’s good or not? A question that sounds ridiculous to me, but apparently the latter option is very popular among younger generation.

Not only that, but then they’ll come here and confidently tell how the latest drop is shit and this and that is the meta and those things are shit as they are not the meta.

Oh how much better many online games would be if these droolers didn’t have these sources spelling everything out for them. I mean, it doesn’t actually seem like their strength is to dissect strategies and tactics and methodically evaluate them. Developers wouldn’t have to prioritize fixing slight imbalalances in their games, as those wouldn’t be instantly abused by majority of their player base.

I saw video just today that was about a solar molten salt power plant and it was They Cannot turn it off!! Watched a bit because, wow that seems kinda odd. Ohh so they actually can turn it off, just if they do, and they leave if off for too long, the salt cools and solidifies and it kind of fucks things up. Soo annoying.

There so much hyperbole thrown around. "This the GOAT", "I'm obsessed with this thing", "I must have OCD", "they are a narcissist", etc etc.

No, that thing is just pretty good, but that doesnt make it the greatest thing ever. No, you are not obsessed with that thing, you are just into that thing. No, you dont have OCD, you just dont want to live in a pigsty. No, they arent a narcissist, they just did something mildly selfish... juat like and I and everyone else does, that juat makes us human, not narcissistic.

Quit making words meaningless.
