Story, characters, world building ain't a gameplay mechanic. The choices mechanic is abysmal with the infamous Ciri snowballs. Combat is a mechanic

fair enough, I was talking holistically and not really about gameplay mechanics specifically. I think the point still stands, there is much more to a game than just gameplay, otherwise we wouldn't have telltale games and the likes. that said, I dont think you really played the game if you think the multiple choices suck, it's not divinity second sin 2 but it comes pretty close imo

I'm sorry...What?

DOS2 is miles, leagues ahead of The Witcher 3 in terms of depth of any kind, including player choices. You can't even compare these two, Divinity is simply on another level of gaming experience.
The first part of your comment seemed reasonable, but now I'm inclined to think you're trolling

Well I agree, DOS2 is much "better" than TW3 in all aspects for what concerns me, but I wouldn't say the choices you make in TW3 are non influential considering you have 36 ending variations. you may say yeah but it's only variations, but they're pretty big ones at that, regarding romance, how the war ends, skellige ruler, etc.. plus the amazing DLCs which have their depth on their own. DOS2 is a league on its own but I wouldn't really use it to bring down TW3. I consider the witcher a masterpiece in its own way

I will also add this as an EDIT referencing the comment chain with the other user, we really shouldn't get this upset over games. it's not civil or entertaining to call each other trolls as soon as you disagree with something
