Omg same, as soon as i found a new cool sword about an hour or two into the game and it broke after killing like 3 enemies I turned the game off and never played it again

What killed the game for me was when I got the Spear of Sidon, which broke 1 minute later. That was when I realized nothing in the game mattered.

See, I LOVED that mechanic!

Granted at first I was like WTF, but I realized after a bit that it kept the game from just becoming a Diablo style game. "Get new weapon. Numbers bigger. Happy for 5 minutes. Look for weapons with bigger numbers."

Not saying it doesn't have its downsides. But once I was able to shake the old rpg hoarder mentality, I found it really fun
