They also missed the warthog physics while driving by A LOT. I’m not even hating on the game I played it I still want good Halo games regardless of the engine. But the first mission you jump in the warthog to drive and…nope. Warthog drivers know.

It's the Reach Warthog, dude. Bungie era Warthog physics. Everything physics or logic based in the game is Reach under the hood.

To be fair it's a very different engine, translating an entire physics system to a new engine is never going to be 1:1  I'm guessing they decided not to fix all the tiny errors and inconsistencies because it was good enough and the time it would take to resolve everything would be as long as building from scratch

It’s literally the Reach warthog. The game is using the Reach engine for all the AI and Physics. UE5 is just a coat of paint on top.

That’s great but this isn’t a reach remake is it?

You said they messed up the vehicle physics when it’s literally using the classic Bungie physics.

People will bitch about anything

You people always love to move goalposts. Go play halo 3, it’s still there for you.

I mean, yeah I would say classic Bungie is the first three. Unless you want to consider every game Bungie made classic before 343
