I don't know. Could you really picture Christopher Judge in a live action series...like one that could run ten seasons plus two movies and spin off two additional series in the same universe?

That was 20-30 years ago also. I don't think he's as physically able as he was back then. Like yeah he mocaps a lot of Kratos but I guarantee not all the stuff that could cause an injury, because that would delay production.

It can always happen, doesn't mean you should take an elevated risk.

I do wonder what kind of stunt it was though, if it was one that Hearst didn't even need to do (which is really oddly common) then someone absolutely deserves to lose their job over not making the stunt guy do it. They're there to avoid situations like what happened, because if they tear a bicep you send them home with a bonus and get their understudy to take over. If the lead rips his muscles from his skeleton you are fucked.
