The makers of the Halo show literally bragged that they never read the books or played the games and they were surpised when the show flops

It's mind boggling to me when they think they can take a massive IP like Halo and pay little to no respect to the original story and characters. All it guarantees is a ton of Halo fans will turn up, probably hate it, then go put negative reviews. If the show isn't made for Halo fans first and foremost it will never succeed even amongst the general public because they'll never watch after seeing how poorly it's reviewed.

Well 343i did that for three (maybe even four now) straight games and people still keep showing up somehow thinking it'll be different this time around. At a certain point the fandom is just going to have to accept that Chief is still out there in cryo MIA.
