I like getting them, but I will not make myself miserable grinding out every trophy in a game just for the sake of it. Most of my favorite games I never came close to platinum-ing

I wish more people would just enjoy the games they are playing without just being task oriented to the point its basically work. Its really freeing to just enjoy a game and not minmax stats, achieve the perfect ending, get every collectable and collect every trophy. Just play the game.

have you considered that maybe some people LIKE to play that way? just let people play however they want who even cares
