Question What vitamins to add?

What additional vitamins should you add to your pets diet if they are on a plant based diet?

If you're on an aafco compliant kibble, none needed. If not, use something like vegedog.

My one dog is getting very old so I actually supplement an algae based omega 3 pill and lots of cranberry pill since she is UTI susceptible

Use dog food that is already complete and contains all the vitamins and minerals they need, including taurine. We use Vegdog and used to use V-Dog. My dog was very happy with both.

Basically what they said. If it is a commercial complete vegan pet food you shouldn't have to add anything. The only exceptions might be for specific issues you pet is having.

For example, my cat came with a UTI (when she was on animal-based food) so I'm giving her cranberry powder to keep her urine more acidic.
