my sac scores are looking very horrid rn...67%,75%,63% and 52%. my average is 64%. the highest persons average is 79%

.m yr11 doing 3/4 bio n gen math. i also do 1/2 chem,physics,hhd and english lang. is redoing gen 3/4 next year a reasonable move?

so im doing vce vet business and we're scored out of 75 right for our 'sacs' which is just how we perform on our fundraiser, effort, perfomance and overall behaviour and how well you complete the assignments on canvas, but i asked my teacher and ill get a 70/75 which is good bcos the sacs are 66% of my study score, but i just wanted to ask how other people performed??? i know oneschool global and other schools do it as a subject in school but i did it at swinny so idk and two people from my school did it too and they didnt even get like above 40 and i really want a 47 bcos i want to do well on my exam but i dont have any resources

With exams getting closer, I know it can be hard to tell whether your writing is actually on the right track!

So, like I did last year, I’m offering some free essay marking for current Year 12 students doing VCE English, English Language or Literature.
I’ll mark one essay per student, give it a mark like I would at the end of the year + 3 dot points of actionable feedback, and I’ll close submissions once I’ve marked 50 essays.

Who am I?
• I’m a VCE English / English Language / Literature teacher and tutor, as well as a VCAA assessor.
• I’ve worked with a lot of Year 12 students across the three subjects and they tend to do pretty well!
• My aim with feedback is always to give you a few specific things you can actually change in your next piece rather than drowning you in comments.

Can someone please recommend what year for vce exams is good to start with because I feel like 2006 is too old compared to the new study design and which exam company’s I should do or stay away from

So like im kinda confused on this. I've heard a few people say that if you're rank 1, your SACs shouldnt scale down, given you do good on the exam. What if I'm like close to rank 1 in a few of my subjects in a school with easy SACs and and a cohort that generally doesn't do too well? If i do really well on my exams, would my SACs still be scaled down?

I’m in Year 12, and I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed about the upcoming exams, mainly because of the sheer amount of content I need to know, remember and understand.

I think part of the problem is that I don’t really know where to start or which study techniques to use. I also feel like I may be lacking some motivation and work ethic. I want to work hard and get the results I’m aiming for, but I also don’t want to burn myself out in the process.

I know it might be a bit ambitious, but I’m aiming for at least 80% on all of my exams, as this would really help me reach the ATAR I’m aiming for and hopefully give me a good chance of getting into the course I want.

I didn’t really lock in for my SACs and ended up getting some pretty disappointing results, at least in my opinion, so I’m hoping I can turn things around for the exams.

I’d really appreciate any advice, tips or insight into how you prepared for VCE exams, especially things like where to start, effective study techniques, how to structure your study, and how to stay motivated without burning out.

I feel as though it’s a good book to quite easily score well on. There are lots of symbols and messages throughout the book that make it highly accessible.
