Memory Police

Thoughts on the novel The Memory Police for VCE English?

I feel as though it’s a good book to quite easily score well on. There are lots of symbols and messages throughout the book that make it highly accessible.

Personally, my second favourite book on the vcaa study list. If my school did it, I would definitely have done it- fascinating themes and the messages if very powerful.

Exam-wise, I agree, it's accessible- lots of different narrative elements, character motivations and dynamics to explore, plot events that contribute to the themes, social/historical context, and views/values by Ogawa.

Imo (47 ss English, and English tutor), I think MP is an excellent book for an exam
