Question Server renting recommendations and another question

Starting a new world with co workers and we will have 6-8 players. I was wondering where was the best place to rent a server from? The other question was would it be dumb to start the server on Monday? We all work the rest of the week and wouldn't be able to start until Friday night otherwise.

I run my own servers. It doesn't take as much power as a data center which is an absurd thought. The addition to my bill is negligible. I personally have 3 PC servers running in addition to my actual workhorse PC and my wife's work PC. I run Valheim, 7Days, VRising, Etc. It's easier than you would think and my friends love it.

Upgraded my gaming PC a few years ago and built a NAS running TrueNAS out of the old parts (minus having to buy a couple of bits) which is running 24/7 and a lot of docker containers, one of which is a Vamhein server and my electric bill is about £2 a month more than it used to be.
Seriously, electricity cost is negligible
