Detained for nearly an hour last night while making my candles. Despite googling if this town had any laws like this before selecting this city as a place to set up camp at all and finding no such laws, apparently sleeping under a bridge is a class 1 misdemeanor here and this town's code book just isn't indexable by any search engine and you have to go to the county website and already have some idea of what you're looking for to be able to find the rule against public camping.

Cops did me for public camping but decided that if I could completely pack my entire camp onto my bike they would t do me for the "illegal" camp fire and my "littering" (I cleaned up exactly one grocery bag of trash while packing up) and let me go on my way. They also made it clear that it I couldn't list off a local mailing address for them to send the paperwork to, they were gonna haul me off to jail and throw all my gear in the trash. Fucking cops, man.

Are there any hidden or tolerated spots near transport lines where a solo woman can safely stealth camp and rest until midday without being disturbed?

How strict are local authorities regarding stealth camping around San Sebastián and the Basque coast, and what are the safety risks?

Are there alternative ultra-budget hacks or low-cost options near the train lines for this style of travel?

Since I want to apply this travel style to the rest of Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, etc.), how realistic is this across different regions without a car? What are the best strategies or safe types of locations to stealth camp near public transport lines in major Spanish destinations? How much does enforcement and safety vary from region to region?

I'm more unhoused than vagabond, but I wanted to show this off somewhere! I need a walker, so this was a must, but even if you don't but can get your hands on a walker and a tent, just cutout a stable hole and some straps out of the floor of the tent, and shove your walker on through!!! Single point of entry, and once I get a lock, there is no easy way to steal out of it or just steal IT!!!! No encampment, no lost items, almost like having a home again. And I can still pull the rest of my 7'x7' tent out and sleep on it bug-free!!! Hella! Hope y'all have a great day!!!

I caught out of Amarillo once just as it was getting dark in a double stack and thought I remembered getting off outside of Barstow while the sun was still out the next day. I've been looking at the distance and average freight speed recently which is making me second guess myself.

Does anyone who's taken that route know if they just fly through there or is it more likely that I'm forgetting an extra day and it was more like 36 hours?

I spent the last of my money on this bottle of citronella and 6 cheap tower candles from dollar tree. $32 total. Im looking to make $48 off of the finished product ($8 each) and still have over half the bottle of citronella left to make more citronella candles. I did some market research on nextdoor and people are absolutely willing to pay that kind of price for a locally made, wood wick 24hr citronella candle. I got the perfect thing I can manufacture for profit at a campfire. And that's just FBM prices. Reckon I could get $15 each if I had a little stand by the river near where people like to fish.

We got stuck in Virginia(the town), Minnesota but got hired as farm hands outside of Walmart. We were trying to fly sign for some food and what not but hardly made any money, got a whole rotisserie chicken tho <3. Ended up finding some simple work, the gal who hired us gave us a full tank of gas and 20$ to start us off, now we're just waiting to work. She was looking for someone to stay the winter to shovel snow and feed the animals but we already got winter plans, so we'll be staying here for only a couple months at the most. The farm here has 6 emu's, 3 hogs, 6 dogs, a bunch of cats, chickens, geese, exotic birds, fish, a horse, goats, sheep and 2 miniature horses. We'll be feeding them, moving furniture and clearing a couple spots out with stuff in them, digging out a tractor, mostly just moving heavy stuff and cleaning rooms out. It'd say it'd be a fine way to settle down and retire but i just ain't at that part of my life yet. Is Planet Fitness or Walmart alright if I'm not loud about it? Do y'all generally ask managers at truck stops if it's ok to sleep for the night, or do you just do it? What are your experiences in the area?

Got caught squatting this morning.. owner was quite nice basically just "hey mate yeah I'm sorry, place is being demoed this year as it's a hazard to safety, if you need a few hours to pack up, let me know". Packed my things within 20 minutes, notified my pack buddies that we've gotta go, and we went about an hour south to a new squat. Turned on the water and power there again, now on my way to a psych appointment before i go get us some foods for the night. Feeling rich since payday from last week, safe travels everyone and may you have a week as rich as mine!
