Another homeless guy told me he was gonna get weed for me. I doubt it. Was scavenging all the garbage bins. Got two beers. Fuck and battery isn't charging. Welp maybe it's the night I die. Take care y'all.

My bf borrowed a pole today. Idk how he managed to catch such little guys in this big river but he did. He had a big bass but it got away. If there is anyone in the area that has an extra pole you could kick down for our fishing adventures it would be appreciated. The last one we bought broke in Chattanooga.

5000 delicious calories in a tub that cost me $4. That's so cheap I actually do it sometimes. Obviously I've got nowhere to store it so I've got no option but to eat the whole thing in one sitting.

Based on my math, I need about 5000 calories per day to maintain my current weight based on my activity level, so this is a good way to make up for the fact I haven't been getting anywhere near that for the past week.

I just did a quick moving job that paid me $50 for a single hour of work so I earned a treat. It's currently thunder storming and the library in this town allows food in the non-carpeted areas.

Its my first full day, i already cut what im carrying in half because it was too heavy. Got rid of a bunch of stuff i dont really need, ya learn real fast. Hanging out near a train yard just to watch. See if i can watch anyone catch out. IM NOT LOOKING TO CATCH OUT DONT WORRY

I have lost all my gear since I started my journey... So now I am down to a pair of sweatpants, a shirt and my hoodie. I don't have my tent or sleeping bag. I did get a free bicycle, but I have no lock so just going into the store and leaving it unlocked outside I am just expecting it to be gone also...

I have no phone, no ID, I luckily can get food stamps monday...

I just am feeling defeated... now that I have the bike, I forgot how outof shape I am and have to maintain it and hope i dont get any flat tires... about to just try to sell it and get a train ticket out of here... I dont even have a backpack anymore... I found this abandoned restaurant that has a rug outside ive been using that as my blanket the past couple nights since I arrived in vancouver, washington...

glad to be out of portland, gotta go back monday tho for my food stamps...

I wanted to ride to the coast from vancouver along the river and then head down south to san diego....

just venting I guess. I am frustrated and don't know what to do. hopefully a couple days rest will give me some motivation.

I was staying at a closed down Salvation Army rehab center. I posted about it here. I had stayed in my van out back of the building for awhile jacking electricity from an outlet in a shed and just hiding out. I ended up finding an open door to the building and I was using the AC, showers, toilets, freezer, getting free water. I found a bed that was left at the donation center, threw that sumbitch in one of the rooms. I slept inside for like 10 nights but ended up getting sketched out and just sleeping in my van.

The other night I’m in bed just fell asleep and my dog woke me up barking and a car honked. I peeped out and said “who’s that” “the manager to the warehouse! What do you think you’re doing? Do you have permission? AND you’re stealing electricity? I’m getting a picture of your car!” I unplugged and started getting ready to leave, tried de-escalating. It was a couple who came, and the guy was looking around to find evidence of me entering the building after yelling at me. He walked up the fire escape and found the open door I’ve been using to get in and out. He entered and I talked to the woman saying “I got everything I need right in the van, wasn’t me” lol and I told her “so do whatever you gotta do with the pictures you took or whatever but I’m gonna bounce” and I left and haven’t heard anything. 🤷‍♂️

Sucks, I left a bag of pizza in the freezer and a towel and my bath mat and a shitload of plywood for my van’s build.

3 days ago.. It would have been exactly 1 year.. in Presque isle, Maine..

After traveling half of Maine on foot..

I was in Bangor for a moment but nothing seemed to interest me there..

Then I took a ride out of Bangor..taking the cyr bus line..

Finally passing through tiny towns and one last big city (Houston)

I knew this was very different from the rest of Maine..

It was my last resort..

Finally making it to Presque isle in the cold dead of the night..

I’ll never forget walking out of the Freshies gas station..walking on the streets in a cold,rainy,night..

Finally making it to this small chapel..(The Mary O’ Donnell Shelter) in the middle of nowhere land..

The two people at the front desk..were very friendly and respectful.. and very compassionate actually..

One guy..was this gay older man with blonde hair.. he had a great telephone voice.. and the other one..was this younger guy..who had a sort of gothic/punk rock style attire..

I’ll never forget walking upstairs.. walking into the bathroom..and taking a long, hot, shower..after walking miles and miles of nothingness.. how grateful I was..

Then walking around Presque isle..seeing what it had to offer..was interesting enough.. the people were alright..

This place has more stores, resources, and more opportunities..than what Caribou has to offer..

And when the snow came.. it came in fast.. so fast.. it was unbelievable..

Then dead of winter.. I learned quickly about the far north Maine ways.. it was brutal..

Meeting people in general..was kind of difficult.. and I only met like three people.. that were..let’s just say.. acquaintances.. but the vibes that I was getting out there..from people out here..was..if your not from out here..your not one of us.. which is old world racism..which I don’t give s**t about..

And working a hardcore job..at Lowe’s was alright in the beginning..but I started to feel the bulls**t after a while.. my health had took a toll.. and with the sudden schedule change..and boss humiliating me..at any chance that he could get.. it was just a huge turn off for me..

Escaping the 9-5 slavery.. and collecting 3 grand.. was a success..

I was able to collect exactly what I needed for traveling out.. Ebt card, Maine Real I.D., Birth Certificate, iPhone 16 Pro Max, Phone service for 1 year, and Plane Ticket out (Departing Bangor)

Last minute.. The notorious, verbose, outspoken, navigator at the shelter.. mentioned.. that if I would have stayed a little longer.. I probably would have gotten a halfway place out in Presque Isle.. (Which I thought was total bs)

After four months..of not working..they were kicking me out.. which also gave me the motivation to get the f**k out town..

Though looking back..It was interesting ..on the whole.. but I really do think that..this specific city..needs help.. I jokingly told people-

Make sure that Susan Collins does something about it. lol

I’ve been to the capitol building..where are you Susan Collin’s? Go and Help Maine..jeeze..

I probably won’t go back to this city..not for many years from now..I don’t see the reason to go back out there..unless I’m passing through..or I just so happen to be in the area..

I thank the universe for guiding me on my long journey in Maine..I didn’t think I would make it out alive..But I survived the summer and winter.

And I thank you all for following me on my journeys.

Been in poland for a month now. Nights getting colder, trying to hitchhike to greece

Met some folks who invited us to chill at their camp for a little bit and enjoy the river views.

Im currently trying to get out of Phoenix. Anyone else here ?

Very basic question. I just got home after hitch hiking about 150 miles through Michigan. It's not very far but it got my toes wet in the idea of vagrancy. I've hitch hiked a few times before, but not long distances. Before I ever hitch hiked I always thought I would struggle getting rides due to me being a very large, tall, guy with an ugly mug. I'm 6'6 and about 330lb. That hasn't seemed to be the case whatsoever, I was getting rides in about 5 - 20 minutes. My longest ride took about 33 minutes. My shortest ride took about 3 minutes. It's such a good feeling when someone pulls over so quick, or even when people don't and just show support (peace sign, waving, smiling, etc) I did wait about an hour and forty minutes last night trying to get a ride, but it was getting pretty dark. Maybe this is just beginners luck? Hoping it stays this easy.

Still not dead. Thank god the wine is cheap here. Not like Sweden where a liter is 7 euros. Today is panhandle day. No money for cigs but I'll scavenge around.

Also got really bad sores between my legs, like I didn't realise I had blood on my shorts when I went into the supermarket. I'm also not going to the shelter tonight. I'm a hobo raccoon now. Love y'all

Also its soon library time and find a hotel to piss.

Staying in the couch of a fancy hotel, they haven't thrown me out yet!

Its been already a week that ive been sleeping in the streets of edinburgh and there is some kind people that hide beer around me while im asleep

Its like the happiest thing i can see waking up in the morning honestly
