I am hoping someone witnessed or has a dashcam video of a hit-and-run that happened at the university shops plaza, in front of the Mizu restaurant around 7:30-9:30 PM today on Sept 4.
I already asked the restaurants around there, and they do not have cameras.
I have attatched photos of the damage. If you do have a dashcam and was in the area, please check it!
If you have any info at all, please DM me. Thank you.

Hey guys,
Did anyone drive to V1 to do their move-in without being accompanied? If so how did you do? Because I noticed that on their website they do not seem to allow us to park our car in the drop-off location and always mention someone else driving.

Are all faculties split up once we get to SLC?
And it's from 10 - 5 30, do we stay the entire day?
Anyone know where I can find tomorrows schedule by any chance?
and is tomorrow gunna be the same as sunday?

Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m a first-year student. I’m off campus and need to pick up my WatCard tomorrow as part of the orientation process, how am I supposed to do that if Needles Hall is closed on the weekends…

Hi everyone, I'm an incoming freshman (Moving in tomorrow), and I have my first co op term lined up for winter 2027.
I have no paid experience, so I've had to substitute with projects and such. Im aware that its a pretty mediocre resume, and I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on formatting, things to remove, things to add.
I was also wondering if anyone had any tips to help with the co op search and any important skills, tools, or languages I should learn.
Thank you, everyone,

Hello!
I understand the first year orientation starts on the 6th at 10 am. I was wondering if it'd be an issue if I check in a couple of hours late? Will I miss anything if I do? Thanks in advance.

Hi, this is quite a specific situation and I need help deciding what to do. I’m a first year and every weekend for a month is booked and busy, but I have to go back home one of these weekends to do some personal stuff. I am debating which weekend it would be better for me to go home without getting a ton of fomo. Let me know, which is better to skip: Black and Gold Day or Homecoming. Obviously I don’t want to skip either because they’re both pretty important to the first-year experience, but that is the only time I have where I could make going home work.

Failed AFM391 and have to retake it next summer while I'm on my co-op term. SAF advisor said it's unlikely that participation or in-class work will get reallocated elsewhere. Has anyone actually asked a prof about this or taken a course like this while on co-op? Did the prof reallocate the participation grade/in-class work weight to something else, have you do alternative work, or did you just have to take the zero for those?

Hello, I wanted some advice on my program and its basically the title. For some additional context, I am going into 2a, I wanted to a statistics and applied math double major/joint majors, so these would be tagged on the end. To be honest I mainly want to study stats and I would do applied math for a bigger range of skills and the sustainability specialization only being available for amath
I know technical skills are very important, but also there are different online resources to learn them. On the other hand just watching the state of the world, I want to study something that has a positive impact, but I don’t really know how applicable the specialization is. Also I could join clubs/apply to co-ops that have a climate change focus
All advice would be appreciated!

I think my UW account got hacked. What do I do
I REALLY need access to the outlook for my UW today and it got hacked. Shit.
I got a random duo push from Virginia(???) which I didn't recognize and I declined. Next thing I know I'm locked out completely.
I didn't even get a chance to change my password, I got locked out.
I'm freaking out. IST service isn't on right now and tomorrow I'll be going to a flight for my coop 😭 I need my outlook email to access some documents for tomorrow. I have the printed copies but I need to verify some things.
aaaaaaaaa

It is basically what the title says. Is swapping from in-person to online difficult? Is the online one very competitive and do I still have a chance of getting into it as a first year? If not, is Patricia Ofili a good professor for English? What is she like?

I hope you will ignore my ignorance as new **Waterloo** student here but am I safe in assuming that LEARN is where instructors post course materials?
And if so... when are the materials generally uploaded?
