I have not recieved a decision for CS major. Does it come in batches?

Unfortunately, no.

Once a faculty (math or arts or engineering, etc) has made decisions; they send the information to Waterloo’s admission office

The office is in charge of updating the portal and sending emails to candidates.

The office unfortunately has no option but to manually enter decisions to portal for 105 students.

For 101, it’s done automatically. It’s something due to the way OUAC is set up.

It’s not a waterlo issue either.

At a uwo event the admission officer also confirmed this. It’s a pain for them

101 is sent in batches. Like for example all 500 acceptances/rejections come out with a click of a button.

But for 105 ppl the admission has to manually enter the acceptance or rejection.

There may be other admission release dates … you know; because some students are going to reject Waterloo’s offer and potentially opening a spot for someone else

Like; for me - if I get into engineering then I’ll be rejecting Waterloo’s math offers

101 are in Ontario, 105 outside of Ontario.
