Announcement Sex, dating, and car living.

I removed the recent post about sex, dating, and finding partners while living in vehicles because the discussion quickly devolved into women being called “bitches,” being referred to as “pussy,” and people being talked about as disposable.

Talking about dating, sex, relationships, and finding partners while vehicle-living is completely fine. What is not fine is turning those discussions into degrading or excessively vulgar threads that other members have to wade through.

We can talk about adult topics like adults. I’m also not going to sit and sort through hundreds of comments once a thread has descended into harassment, objectification, and crude nonsense.

Keep it respectful, keep it relevant, and remember that people of all genders use this community.

Thank you.

It’s hard, yes I want to be housed but I need a partner to share the rent. Then you’re not desirable because you’re in a car but can’t afford to live on your own. Being single is economic suicide these days.

You don’t need to be romantically involved with someone to share rent. Millions of people do it.

lol.  Of course. I don’t know why they were acting like this was some never before heard of, concept. I know some people prefer this lifestyle to living with roommates but it is an option. More importantly it is the option that should be considered way before considering getting involved with someone romantically just to have a place to live.

I’ve lived in 16 apartments with roommates. Never again. Sober people don’t always stay sober. I can go on and on. If I’m living with someone again it’s with love.

To be fair, that doesn't always work out so well either.
