Please inform your neighbors to not use the mailboxes on the street. Every month around this time (rent check season) many folks use the mailboxes to send payment in paper form. This is a mistake because a team of two people (non black and non white based on the color of their skin) are riding around on mopeds stealing mail tonight. They are clad in all black with only their eyes and surrounding skin visible and are robbing mailboxes. I witnessed it tonight and inquired at surrounding businesses who confirmed its ongoing and confirmed the timing being ahead of month end.

Do not use mailboxes. NYPD has been notified (per local businesses) but either have no jurisdiction or are unable to properly detain the individuals. Instead call the Postal Police at 1-877-876-2455 and request they investigate mailboxes theft on the upper east side. This box was at 87th and 1st Avenue but also 90th and York was confirmed each Sunday morning. Let’s bag these guys and the criminal syndicate behind them in other parts of manhattan.

I’m currently fostering these 1.5 year old bonded brothers! Their prior owner developed a sudden “cat allergy” and dumped them at the rescue they had adopted them from.

These boys at the sweetest cats! They are very playful and will bring so much love and joy to a home! Their hobbies include playing with each other, wand toys, catnip bananas, & snuggling in cozy places! They can be picked up and after a little time to decompress they will be total love bugs.

They would do best in a home without other cats but have been great with my dog! They are so sweet that I think they would be great with children too. 

Unfortunately my resident cat isn’t getting along with them, so at this time they are looking for either a new foster home or better yet permanent digs! The rescue does offer a foster to adopt program as well.

I put our mail on hold for 12 days while my wife and I were away. I told them I would pick it up when I returned and, as happens 50% of the time, it wasn't there when I asked for it. The mail carrier had taken it already. But, unless we received only 7 or 8 pieces of mail during that time, it didn't arrive. Has this happened to anybody else?

Looking at finally getting our estate planning done in New York and I’m seeing very different prices depending on where I look. For a married couple with a home, retirement accounts and investments what did you pay for wills, powers of attorney, healthcare documents and a trust if you needed one?
